Vanessa is the Store Manager at The House of Shoes. You can find her in store Monday to Friday. Her first purchase from the New Collection was a pair of Hogl sneakers.
What are your top three picks from our New Collection?
The metallic bronze colour attracted me from the start. This is a very comfortable, soft sneaker from Hogl. It’s also my first purchase from the brand, and I am hooked! I like this style because I can wear it with dresses or skirts for a dressed-up look, or dress down with jeans for a more casual ensemble.
Warm and waterproof. A great choice for winter. I feel the cold and anything with added warmth is a bonus. The soft padded footbed offers great support, if you are on your feet all day. I purchased this style for all the weekend sports my son will be doing. Come rain or shine I know I’ll be just right in these.
It is so hard to narrow my favourites to just three. Hispanitas have released some amazing pieces this season. This ankle boot is in a classic colour for winter. The ombre heel is what draws the eye.
What is your favourite accessory from The House of Shoes?
Hispanitas have released some lovely pieces this season. My favourite is the Baguette bag in forest and black. I love the shape and the chain detail across the front of the bag. Very elegant.
What is your winter warmer treat?
Hot soup and crusty bread are my go-to. I enjoy cooking soup on a Sunday. My favourite is chicken and sweetcorn with fresh bread on the side and butter. Delicious!
