Vanessa is the Store Manager at The House of Shoes. You can find her in store Monday to Friday. Her first purchase from the Spring/Summer 2025 Collection was a pair of Fly London sandals.
Which new season styles have you bought?
My first purchase was the Fly London Taji Poppy Orange. I am a Fly London fan. I really liked the colour, and once I tried the sandal on, the comfort factor was excellent. These are extremely cushioned and lightweight.
My second purchase was the Think! Vivi linen. I love a slide for summer, and I had also been wanting a lighter colour option in my wardrobe.
Wait until you try these on! The linen straps are leather-lined and incredibly soft. The heel height is just right for all-day wear, and I also find the cork footbed to be an interesting feature. The Vivi sandals are also available in black suede.
We have some lovely new accessories for the season. What is your favourite?
I am always excited to see the new Hispanitas range. The Hispanitas bucket shoulder rafia natural is so cute. I love the weave detail and the option for a longer strap. This piece will beautifully complement any outfit.
With the longer evenings settling in, what is your favourite summertime activity?
I am looking forward to the longer daylight hours. I will use the extra time to go on longer runs after work and take advantage of the summer sun with BBQs on the back deck.
