Dianne is the store owner and buyer at The House of Shoes. You can find her in store Saturdays, as well as periodically throughout the week. Her first purchase from the New Collection was a pair of Hispanitas boots.
Which new season styles have you bought?
I think I own at least one item from every Hispanitas collection we’ve had in store over the last five years! I just love their style, which is effortless and elegant all rolled into one. A pale cream boot is something I don’t have in my wardrobe, but with so many cream, brown and beige colours across clothing this season, this boot is going to work well with my new wardrobe additions.
I’m loving the rich colours this season, and particularly the focus on suede across footwear, accessories and clothing. It’s always beautifully soft to wear, and the colours are richer. This is a new Italian brand, and well known for their high quality, comfort and beautiful leathers. A classic Chelsea style that I see myself wearing now and many more winters to come.
We have some lovely new accessories for the season. Which is your favourite?
I’m really impressed by the clever designs of the new Hispanitas Mini Shoulder bags this season. These have been a staple in their collection over the past few years, but the design this season is much more thoughtful, featuring two compartments, zipped pockets, card holders and a larger sized opening for your phone, keys and a lipstick!
Available in acero (silver), black and forest.
What’s your favourite thing about Autumn/Winter time?
Boots! I can never have too many options when it comes to boots. Whilst I’ll have a favourite of the season, I love to be able to mix and match different looks to transform an outfit. I keep my clothes for a long time, so I’m always looking at different ways to pair items and create different looks.
