General Terms & Conditions for The House of Shoes
This website (www.thehouseofshoes.com.au) is owned and operated by Sheehan & Johnston Holdings Pty Ltd, trading as The House of Shoes (hereinafter "The House of Shoes", "we", "our", "us"), a company incorporated under Australian law, ABN 87 538 408 102.
These terms and conditions apply whenever you access www.thehouseofshoes.com.au. By using this website, you are deemed to have accepted these conditions. Please read these T&Cs carefully before placing any orders on this website. If you do not wish to agree to these T&Cs, please do not further access or use this website.
In order to make a purchase through this website, you must provide your name, phone number, email address and payment information. For all orders for items to be delivered, you will also be required to provide a valid postal address (private residence or workplace).
When you register, you are registering as a personal user of The House of Shoes online store. We allow you access to make purchases and access your personal information on the basis that you do not abuse the functionality of the site, or other users. If, for any reason, we believe that you have not complied with these requirements, we may cancel your access to this website immediately without notice.
If you wish to terminate your account with The House of Shoes, you can do so by contacting us by email email@example.com or phone +61 3 6331 6994 (between 10am – 5 pm Monday to Friday). The agreement will terminate and your email address and password will become invalid on thehouseofshoes.com.au immediately.
The products shown on this website are the full range of styles available at The House of Shoes, and can also be found in our Launceston store, Shop 1, Old Brisbane Arcade, 70 Brisbane Street. Our system periodically updates product information and availability, which means that selected products may not be in stock at the time of purchase. We do not accept any responsibility for any lack of stock of any of the products displayed.
Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email from us confirming your order. It will include a list of the item(s) purchased, the total price (including GST and shipping costs where applicable) and delivery details. If you made an error when placing your order, please contact us by email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone +61 3 6331 6994 (between 10am – 5 pm Monday to Friday). If you don't receive an order confirmation, please contact us by either means above.
We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, that we are unable to obtain authorization for payment, shipping restrictions apply to a particular item or that the item ordered is out of stock. In the event that your order doesn’t comply with our shipping rules, or the item is out of stock, you shall be informed by email and any payment will be refunded (if the payment was already processed).
You may cancel your order and receive a full refund if the cancellation is made prior to your order being shipped. You can access your order by logging into your account. If your order has been shipped, you will need to wait for its delivery before returning your order. You may do this in accordance with our Returns Policy.

We hope you love your new shoes, but if you do have a change of mind, or they do not fit properly, we ask that you return the shoes within 14 days. Please refer to our Shipping & Returns page for information on how to return your item(s).
Prices shown on this website are in Australian Dollars and include all applicable taxes. The price of a product displayed on this website at the time the order is submitted will be honoured.
Payment and Security
We accept orders 24/7, and payment can only be made by credit or debit card. You confirm that you are the owner of the credit or debit card being used, or you’ve received authorisation from the card holder to use it.
In order to ensure secure payment transactions, The House of Shoes uses a secured payment system, whereby all confidential data is encrypted and transmitted directly to a secured server.
We take all reasonable care to keep the details of your order and payment secure. We also reserve the right to cancel an order if we cannot verify the shipping and/or billing details, and we will notify you if this happens.
Intellectual Property Rights
All text, images, logos and graphics (“Content”) are the property of The House of Shoes or its associated companies and are covered by national and international Intellectual Property rights laws. The reproduction or redistribution of any Content is prohibited and may result in civil and criminal penalties.

In no event shall The House of Shoes be liable for any loss or damage caused as a result of your doing, or not doing, anything related to viewing or reading the materials on this website, or as a result of the inaccessibility of this website. We give no warranties of any kind concerning The House of Shoes or this website or the material. We do not warrant that this website is virus free. You must take your own precautions as we accept no responsibility for any infection by a virus or contamination.
These T&Cs are governed by Australian law. You submit the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts exercising jurisdiction in Australia.
